Red Blanket Society
Update
It has been a productive year for the Red Blanket Society in support of the Residency Program. Among our activities, completed or upcoming, are the following:
- Financial support of residents attending the ACEP Scientific Assembly in New Orleans
- Co-host with the Department at the annual USC Reception at the Assembly
- Completion of a badly needed update and re-stocking of the libraries in 1350 and 1060, including texts and
audiovisual materials (with many thanks to the efforts of Dr. Chi Lee!)
- Update of our alumni database
- Financial support for the June graduation party
- Each of the incoming PGY 2 residents received a copy of Dr. Sean Henderson’s
EMERGENCY MEDICINE
- Each of the graduating residents will receive a gift membership to the Wellness Section of the Amerian College of Emergency Physicians or a $50 gift certificate to the ACEP bookstore
- Contributions to the upcoming West Africa mission
The Residency Program has never been more deserving of your support. Besides an extraordinary faculty that
brings both talent and dedication to their jobs, recent residency classes have consistently ranked within the top 5-10% of all programs on the annual national inservice examination.
