Welcome to the homepage of the Department of Emergency Medicine of the USC Keck School of Medicine!
We are an academic department based at the Los Angeles County/University of Southern California Medical Center (LAC+USCMC), located in the heart of Los Angeles. LAC+USCMC is one of the nation’s largest teaching and referral hospitals, serving as the central hub of the County’s emergency services network.
In addition to providing high quality care to the over 400 ill and injured adult and pediatric patients who arrive to our clinical areas daily, our mission is to excel in education and research, developing the future leaders in emergency medical care.
